Sofas and Armchairs

Sofa’s and arm chairs are mandatory in our therapeutic classrooms and are used to create our calm areas. Here the children can self-regulate, have some 1-to-1 time or even use it to do their learning! The power of a sofa in a classroom is undeniable and is often the preferred place for the most vulnerable children, allowing them to access the room and continue to be part of the learning environment, even if they are feeling a bit unsettled.
