Calm Areas

We add calm areas in every classroom we design and encourage children to use them as part of the learning environment. Here the children can self-regulate, have some 1-to-1 time or even use it to do their learning! A calm area is made up of a sofa, rug, coffee table and flexible seating. If you have a limited budget try arm chairs instead of a sofa or just add flexible seating options like bean bags and pods.
