Returns Policy
We understand that purchasing furniture for your school is a big commitment, and we want you to feel confident and supported every step of the way. Our returns policy has been designed to be fair, transparent, and straightforward. So if something isn’t quite right, we’ll do our best to put it right.
Change of Mind or Unwanted Items
If you’ve changed your mind about an item, or something just isn’t quite what you expected:
• You have 14 days from the date of delivery to return the item.
• Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
• Return delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
• Once the item is received and inspected, we’ll issue a refund (excluding original delivery fees) within 5–10 working days.
Please note: We are unable to accept returns for handmade wooden items unless they arrive damaged or faulty, as these are made to order and crafted individually.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, we’re here to help:
• Please notify us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description of the issue.
• We’ll assess the situation and arrange one of the following at no extra cost:
• Replacement parts or items
• Repair
• Full or partial refund
If an item has been damaged through misuse, we won’t be able to offer a refund or replacement.
Custom or Made-to-Order Items
• Custom-built or made-to-order furniture cannot be returned unless faulty.
• We will always ensure that any faults or issues are resolved fairly and quickly.
Items Under Guarantee
• If an item develops a fault while still under guarantee, please get in touch with us.
• We’ll investigate and, where necessary, liaise with the manufacturer directly.
• Any refunds or replacements will be bound by the manufacturer’s guarantee terms.
How to Arrange a Return
To request a return, please email us at hello@therapeuticclassrooms.co.uk with the following:
• Your order number
• Item(s) you wish to return
• Reason for return
• Any supporting photos (if relevant)
We’ll get back to you within 2 working days with the next steps.
