Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated: 03.09.2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”) and Therapeutic Classrooms Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) when you purchase goods or services through our website [therapeuticclassrooms.co.uk] or otherwise engage with our Services.
By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, and, where applicable, our Therapeutic Classrooms Project Agreement.
1. Company Information
Therapeutic Classrooms Ltd is registered in England and Wales.
- Registered Address: The White House, Greenall's Ave, Warrington, WA4 6HL
- Company Number: 15608848
- VAT Number: GB 464219391
- Contact: hello@therapeuticclassrooms.co.uk
2. Orders & Payment
- All orders must be paid in full before we begin processing.
- For bespoke classroom projects, full payment for furniture is required before we place supplier orders. Projects are prioritised in order of payment received.
- Prices are listed in GBP and may change without notice.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where there is an error in pricing or product availability.
3. Products & Availability
- We supply both standard furniture items (e.g. chairs, tables) and bespoke handmade wooden furniture.
- While we endeavour to keep stock information accurate, availability is subject to change. In rare cases, items may become unavailable after you place an order. If this happens, we will offer you a refund or an alternative product.
- Colours, finishes, and designs shown on our website are for guidance only. Slight variations may occur due to supplier changes, materials, or manufacturing processes.
4. Handmade Wooden Furniture
- Handmade wooden furniture (including bespoke tables, high tables, and side tables) is built to order and cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged on delivery.
- Wood is a natural material and may mark or scratch through use. Tables are supplied in natural wood with a lacquer finish; further protection (e.g. Perspex covers) can be provided at additional cost.
- Please note: wood naturally responds to heat, humidity, and changes in the environment. This may result in slight movement, bending, or variation in the surface. This is completely normal and part of the nature of wooden furniture. If you feel the movement has become an issue, please send us photographs and we will advise you on the best next steps.
5. Assembly
- Unless otherwise agreed, all furniture is delivered flat-packed. Assembly is the responsibility of the Customer.
- Assembly services may be offered at additional cost, subject to availability.
6. Delivery
- We will provide estimated delivery dates based on supplier timelines. These are approximate only and cannot be guaranteed.
- You must inspect all deliveries on arrival and report any missing or damaged items immediately. Failure to do so may affect our ability to arrange replacements or refunds.
- Risk of goods passes to you once delivered. Ownership passes once full payment is received.
7. Returns & Refunds
- Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms and sets out your rights in detail.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
- Bespoke or made to order handmade items are non-returnable, except where faulty or damaged on delivery.
8. Warranties & Liability
- We pass on any manufacturer warranty that applies to the products we supply.
- As our approach is pioneering, we cannot guarantee the long-term durability of all products until they have been trialled in schools over time.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by students, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods supplied.
9. Therapeutic Classrooms Projects
- If you engage us for a full classroom design or transformation project, additional terms will apply under our Therapeutic Classrooms Project Agreement.
- The Project Agreement takes precedence over these Terms where there is any conflict.
10. Schools’ Responsibilities (for Project Work)
Where you engage us for a project, you agree to:
- Appoint a project manager to liaise with our team.
- Provide timely information and payment to avoid delays.
- Inspect all deliveries promptly.
- Accept that unforeseen supply issues may impact project timelines.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the Therapeutic Classrooms approach, designs, content, and materials remains owned by Therapeutic Classrooms Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our materials without written consent.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
