This standard provides guidelines for the sizing of tables and chairs used in educational settings, ensuring that they are appropriate for the age and physical stature of students.
Each size mark corresponds to a specific seat height and approximate child height range. The size mark on the chairs is then paired with the size mark on the tables to ensure they are the right size for each year group.
Size mark 3 chairs pair with size mark 3 tables
Size mark 4 chairs pair with size mark 4 tables
Size mark 5 chairs pair with size mark 5 tables
Size mark 6 chairs pair with size mark 6 tables
Note: Both size mark 4 and 5 can be used for year 6. We would recommend size mark 6 for those with taller children

Our Calm Lights are dim and change colour when the top is tapped, these are great tools to help children self-regulate whilst in the classroom. When children are struggling, they can grab this lamp and snuggle with it on the sofa, under a blanket or in a tent to help them calm down.
Our absolute favourite way to light a classroom! These small, portable LED lights are perfect for putting on tables, shelves and the teacher's desk to calm down the space and make everything feel welcoming and cosy.
Top Tips: These lights are rechargeable, and charged with USB cables. The light doesn't include the plug, we advise 5 per classroom to create a relaxed atmosphere. We would suggest that you purchase a multi-USB charger station.
